Thoughts on winter...

You must understand that I grew up in warmer climes. With family living scattered along the Carolinas southward over to Texas - I saw snow once while growing up in Florida. So, I don't participate in any winter sports other than - scraping the car, slipping and falling, and, attempting to avoid morons on the roads. Ok, I might throw a snowball or two...

There is something about snow around the Washington DC area that causes the driving portion of the brain to disconnect in many of this areas drivers. Or, even better, are the plethora of SUV drivers in the area that think they don't need to adjust their driving habits during inclement weather because of their vehicles. The best example though is a new trend for folks to slow to a crawl and turn on their hazard lights at the first sign of snow in the air! Who are you warning? I see the snow too but now I have no idea which direction you are trying to go!

To top it all off I'm sick... No, I don't like winter much at all.
